José Enríquez is an associate with Trinity International LLP.  Prior to joining Trinity, José worked as an associate for Morrison & Foerster’s project finance team in Washington D.C. and London.  He has experience advising lenders and development finance institutions in project financings in various sectors (including social development, infrastructure, and telecommunications) in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.  Prior to that, he spent several years as an in-house lawyer for an oil storage and distribution company in Nicaragua.

José holds a law degree (licenciatura en Derecho) from Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua, an LL.M. in Corporate Law (Asesoría Jurídica de Empresas) from IE University in Madrid, Spain, and an LL.M in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

José is admitted to practice in New York and in Nicaragua and is in the process of obtaining his qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales.  He is fluent in Spanish and English.
