Adekanmi Lawson is Counsel at Trinity International LLP.  Kanmi trained and qualified as a solicitor at Linklaters LLP and was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills’ Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure team in Paris prior to joining Trinity. Kanmi has a wide range of experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer on single and multi-jurisdictional acquisitions, disposals and other equity transactions (including comprehensive buyer/seller due diligence, transaction implementation and ancillary joint venture and other shareholder arrangements) to international investors throughout Africa and elsewhere in the power, oil and gas, infrastructure, transport, mining and telecommunications sectors.

Kanmi received a joint honours BA in French and Latin from the University of Bristol before completing his GDL and LPC. He is admitted as an Avocat au barreau de Paris (October 2017) and as a Solicitor of England and Wales (September 2009). He is a fluent French speaker.
