Pietro Bombonato is a dual-qualified English solicitor and Italian avvocato, and a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution practice of Trinity International LLP. He advises and represents multinational corporations, States and State-owned entities in complex international disputes, with a particular focus on international arbitration.

Pietro has over 12 years’ experience across a broad range of jurisdictions and sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, advertising, professional services, sports and agriculture. He has acted in arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and LCIA Rules, as well as in ad hoc proceedings.

Before joining Trinity, Pietro worked at Omnia Strategy LLP and Volterra Fietta in London, and trained at DLA Piper in Milan. He holds a law degree from the University of Milan and an LL.M. in International Law from the Graduate Institute of Geneva, and has also studied law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Pietro is fluent in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
