Emma Walshe is a legal consultant at Trinity International LLP. She is an experienced project finance lawyer specialising in energy and infrastructure projects in emerging markets. Emma advises on both financing and commercial arrangements for projects.

Emma trained and qualified at Norton Rose Fulbright where she gained extensive experience in project finance transactions advising developers, investors and lenders (ECAs, DFIs, IFIs and commercial banks). Emma advised on projects in Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. After 13 years at Norton Rose Fulbright, Emma then spent 6 years in-house at British International Investment plc, the UK’s development finance institution. Whilst in-house, she advised on project financings from both a lender and equity investor perspective working closely with other lenders (DFIs / IFIs and commercial banks), clients and co-investors. Emma has experience across a range of sectors, including roads, power, petrochemicals, oil & gas and telecoms, with a particular focus on renewable power deals.

Emma qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2007.
