Akinwunmi is a paralegal at Trinity, where he provides support on corporate and commercial transactions, cross-border project finance and infrastructure transactions across emerging markets. Prior to joining Trinity, he gained significant experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer, working both in-house and with two leading Nigerian law firms, Olaniwun Ajayi LP and Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors. His experience covers a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, tax, corporate insolvency and restructuring advisory, and dispute resolution.

Akinwunmi hlds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Lagos and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Services Law at the National University of Singapore. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and is in the process of completing his admission as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
