Olkaria III wins Project Finance Magazine Award 2009

We are pleased to announce that the Olkaria III geothermal IPP in Kenya has won the Project Finance magazine/Euromoney African Renewable Deal of the Year 2009. The award was awarded to (1) Ormat International and Orpower 4 Inc as the borrower, (2) the lenders, FMO, DEG, EAIF, Proparco, KfW, EFP, (3) Trinity International LLP in its role as international legal counsel to the lenders and (4) the borrower’s international legal counsel (Chadbourne & Parke).
