Emma trained and qualified at Norton Rose Fulbright where she gained extensive experience in project finance transactions advising developers, investors and lenders (ECAs, DFIs, IFIs and commercial banks). Emma advised on projects in Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. After 13 years at Norton Rose Fulbright, Emma then spent 6 years in-house at British International Investment plc, the UK’s development finance institution. Whilst in-house, she advised on project financings from both a lender and equity investor perspective working closely with other lenders (DFIs / IFIs and commercial banks), clients and co-investors. Emma has experience across a range of sectors, including roads, power, petrochemicals, oil & gas and telecoms, with a particular focus on renewable power deals.

Emma qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2007.

José holds a law degree (licenciatura en Derecho) from Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua, an LL.M. in Corporate Law (Asesoría Jurídica de Empresas) from IE University in Madrid, Spain, and an LL.M in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Moneesha trained at Linklaters LLP, qualifying into the firm’s Global Energy & Infrastructure Group.  Prior to joining Trinity, Moneesha also worked at British International Investment plc (the UK’s development finance institution), the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet and Gridworks Development Partners LLP.

She has gained extensive direct experience working with organisations active in the development and climate finance sectors including international development finance institutions, multilateral development banks, non-profit and grant-making organisations, export credit agencies, commercial financiers, government entities and other public and private sector institutions.

Akosua has acted in proceedings conducted under the arbitration rules of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), in ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL rules, and in commercial arbitration proceedings under the arbitration rules of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Prior to joining Trinity in 2025, Akosua was an Associate at the Paris law firm Derains & Gharavi. There, she was part of a team of lawyers representing international companies and State entities in investment and commercial arbitration cases in banking, energy, and telecommunications sectors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Before that, she trained at the Paris law boutique Clay Arbitration, where she was part of the team representing an African State in a dispute within the banking sector.

Akosua is admitted to the Paris Bar and proficient in English, French, and Twi. She holds a master’s degree in economic law from Sciences Po Paris and a master’s degree in international economic law and activities from Cergy-Paris University.

Victor specialises in Project Finance and Project Development, with a particular focus on advising lenders and sponsors on cross-border energy and infrastructure projects located in developing regions, especially in Francophone and Anglophone Africa. He also has experience on advising Governments and Regulatory Authorities on regulatory aspects, especially in the Technology, media and telecom sector in Francophone Africa.

Prior to joining Trinity in 2025, Victor spent two years working as an associate in the Government Regulation Practice at Jones Day and one year and a half in the Project Finance team at Watson Farley & Williams in Paris.

Victor holds a double degree in French and English law from the University of King’s College London and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a Business Tax and financial market law degree from the University of Paris-Saclay. Additionally, he completed a law degree in International Business Law at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Victor is admitted to the Paris Bar Association. He is a native French speaker and speaks fluent English and proficient Spanish.

Before joining Trinity, Laragh was a Deputy Counsel in the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. Whilst there, she administered over 150 arbitrations across a wide range of industry sectors, including construction, energy, and telecommunications, with a particular focus on disputes involving projects or parties connected to Anglophone Africa. Prior to her time at the ICC, Laragh practised as a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team at Arthur Cox in Ireland.

Laragh holds an LL.M in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement from Sciences Po Law School, Paris, and an LL.B in Law and French from Trinity College, University of Dublin.

Prior to joining Trinity, Iveth spent over two years as a Paralegal at Pinsent Masons LLP France, where she was part of the International Arbitration Team, handling multiple disputes across France and Africa. She played a key role in project case management, overseeing hearings, filings, and overall logistics coordination.

Iveth spent more than four years at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where she led the team of legal assistants supporting the Middle East Team.

She holds a degree in International Relations from Rosario’s University and Sciences Po Paris, as well as a master’s degree in Project Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Iveth is native Spanish speaker and speaks fluent French and English.

Ilia focuses on the renewable energy sector, with his primary areas of expertise including concession agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and construction-related contracts, such as EPC contracts and O&M agreements.

Prior to joining Trinity, Ilia trained across several law firms and energy companies before taking on a role as Legal Counsel at EDF Renouvelables. In this position, he worked on renewable energy projects, with particular expertise in the negotiation and execution of EPC contracts and O&M agreements. His work has spanned a diverse range of technologies, including solar, onshore and offshore wind, and battery storage, giving him a broad and practical understanding of the sector’s legal and commercial landscape.

Ilia holds an LL.M. in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London, as well as a Master’s degree in International Financial Law and a Bachelor’s degree in International Public Law from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

Ilia is admitted to practice law in France. A native Russian speaker, he is also fluent in French and English.
