Robert Currall is an Associate at Trinity and has gained experience in the construction, operational and financing aspects of projects in the energy sector, encompassing transactions in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Robert trained and spent 2 years as an Associate in the Energy Projects group at Norton Rose Fulbright prior to joining Trinity.
Matters which Robert has worked on include advising a state utility on the EPC and O&M arrangements for a coal-fired power station in Southern Africa; the lenders on the financing, project documentation and subsequent restructuring of a bioethanol project in Sierra Leone; the special purpose company formed by 2 major European utilities on the supply and maintenance arrangements for a number of major offshore wind projects to be developed in Western Europe; a British oil major on developing a global template for EPCM arrangements; a Japanese construction major on an operations and maintenance contract for a large-scale industrial and desalination plant in Saudi Arabia; and two German banks on the financing, construction and operational aspects of a number of wind farm and solar PV projects in the UK.
Robert completed his studies at Durham University and BPP Law School and is a fluent French speaker.
